Air Jordan IX Retro Premio Bin 23

I've seen a few pairs of Jordans in the past two days, and these ones are by far the hottest.
Earlier this year, Jordan Brand unveiled its inaugural Premio release with the Air Jordan II. Following up on that effort is an upcoming Air Jordan IX version. Featured in a premium range of leathers, the shoe’s colorway includes white and gold with a red stamp over the heel. The IX’s original debut came while Michael Jordan was away playing baseball and would eventually transcend basketball to become a popular sneaker for various cleated sports. The Air Jordan IX Retro Premio Bin 23 will release on Saturday, May 29th at select retailers across the world and on June 5th in the US.

Cheq out the detail on the seal below. And if you really wanna see the other Jordans I'm talking about, head over to hypebeast.com and look at the firepit ones. I don't like em at all. Jus sayin.

Kanye West feat. Dwele - Power

I don't know if this is the single that everybody has been hyping up, but it's still a single nonetheless. Mic Legacy - Police State (Awe Yeah)

Mic Legacy is not a name heard everyday in the realms of Hip Hop, but this Virginia based emcee who terms the moniker “Feed Yo Kids” has created an impressive single here entitled, Police State. The motivation behind the song was a little girl named Aiyana Jones, who tragically made headlines just days ago. This song serves as a message dedicated to her and beyond, check it out.

Blu - So Perfect (prod. by Exile)

New track from my favorite rapper outta the first freshman class Blu. I'm kinda mad it's not a rapping song. Not that I hate his singing, it's just that after going a while without hearing some neww stuff, I kinda wanted to hear a heavy hitter to get me psyched for whatever he's planning. Oh well, I'm psyched anyway. I'll just listen to this, along with his entire library on my zune till his plans come to fruition. Cheq the song below.

Abraham “Abramz” Tekya’s Breakdance Project Uganda (B.P.U.) is a project that could empower, rehabilitate and heal the community by teaching youth about b-boy culture. The film features narration by Common and interviews with Mos Def, Will-I-Am, and K’Naan.

T.I. has been pretty low key in the game since his release from incarceration, but he doesn't intend to keep it that way. Along with an upcoming movie entitled "Takers", T.I. is also working on his next studio Album King Uncaged. This track is meant to hype you up for both. Pretty decent music video for the track "Deuces" off the Fan of a Fan mixtape... one of the tracks I actually liked off it, so I approve. Not saying that the mixtape sucked, but it def. didn't live up to the hype and I'm not a fan of Chris Brown that much anyway. Even before he beat Rhianna lol. Anyway, cheq tha vid.

Goggles...?

I don't understand what the point of wearing ski goggles is when your not skiing. I mean, even if it was raining or something, I could understand, but when you wear them in the middle of the summer when it's sunny out, you just look stupid. I got two pairs, and I've worn each of them maybe 2x. SMH.

Drake on the cover of BillBoard Magazine

“I know I have a lot of growing up to do, but I guess, unfortunately, people won’t judge me as if this is my first album or my first year in the game. This is a crucial moment for me. It actually feels like my last album, not my first. I’ll be working hard to make sure you remember it. I’ll be in your city, performing all the songs, and hopefully looking at you in your eyes and let you know it’s real out here, man. I’m ready.”

As some of you should already know, I go to school for Radio/TV/Film, with a concentration in Creative Writing. I was also on the executive board for the 09-10 school year as Special Events Producer. One thing that the station does every year is a live telethon to raise money for a selected organization, this year being The Red Cross. There was a lot of hard work and preparation for this, so here is the behind the scenes look at what goes on at a student run station. Much thanks to Rowan University for providing us with the skills/equipment we needed to pull it off.

Adidas F50 Adizero (WOW)

I love soccer. And as a soccer player, reading about these shoes makes me drool (figuratively, of course.) The Adidas F50 Adizero is the lightest cleat in the world, EVER. Normal boots weigh around 10 oz. These weigh 5.8. I wish you could capitalize numbers, cause that is too impressive. That's lighter than a one subject notebook. I'm pretty sure a hat weighs at least 6 oz.

To keep it light, Adidas got rid of the insole board that normally provides support for the whole shoe, and put in a molded poly-amide outsole they call the "sprint frame." The different creases in the bottom are the difference between what areas stretch and what areas are firm.

Now some people say that the cleat doesn't make the player, the player makes the player. This is somewhat true. But with the world cup around the corner, the cleat WILL make the better player, since they are all good lol.

Kanye West album delayed till September

Apparently, Kanye West has delayed the release of his new album Good A** Job until September when it was slated to release next month. This new album will not, and I repeat, WILL NOT be another 808 (even though 808 wasn't bad) but will be returning to real Hip Hop with features ranging from Q-Tip, RZA, and much more. I'm excited, and you should be too. I'm not forcing my excitement on you, I'm just saying that it deserves your excitement as well. Cypress Hill - The Uprising

I don't know why the title is "The Uprising", cause Cypress Hill has been holding it down for Hip Hop ever since insane in the membrane... this new mixtape from them hosted by Peter Rosenberg features artists ranging from Asher Roth to Styles P. Quite a few of the tracks are weed based, which helps me understand alot of the artist choices lol. Either way, it's a sick tape, so cheq it out.
